Multiple Enrollment
or you have been admitted to a joint degree program (cooperative degree program) with one or more universities and Freie Universität Berlin is not your main university.
In this case, you will enroll at your first university and subsequently at the second university and, if applicable, at other universities. On the admission letter, you can see which main university you have been assigned to start enrollment at. Once this has been completed, apply for enrollment at Freie Universität immediately.
The checklists for the documents to be submitted on the application for enrollment or the application for a change of degree program do not apply in the case of multiple enrollment.
Required Documents
1. Notice(s) of admission
2. Module/second subject assignment, if applicable
3. Current certificate of enrollment stating the degree program/subject and the semester of enrollment at your first university
4.1 If you are not yet enrolled at Freie Universität Berlin, please fill out the application for enrollment. It is absolutely necessary to enter your e-mail address on page 4 of the application in order to create your student account!
or
4.2 If you are already enrolled at Freie Universität Berlin and would like to change your program, the application to change programs
5. Certificate of eligibility for university study, in the case of foreign university entrance qualifications, an official translation into German or English and the VPD (preliminary review documentation)
6. If applicable, the proof of the required language skills/result of the FU language test if the required foreign language skills are not evident from the school leaving certificate
You can find out which modules are affected by the information on the study programs. The dates of the language tests can be found on the website of the Language Center.
7. For Master's enrollments: degree certificate
8.If applicable, placement notice for previous studies, issued by the appropriate board of examiners/department representative (not applicable for Master)
Please note:- Accepted file formats are pdf, jpeg, png, bmp, docx with a maximum size of 2MB each. We do not accept links to external storage locations (cloud) or zip files. Save all required documents individually and name them according to their content.
